About
Silicon Valley Bank was transferring its resources to the cloud. To raise awareness during this process, the migration teams decided to create a sizzle reel to generate excitement.
My Role
I was directly responsible for the creative direction, animation and delivery of the explainer video. To execute this I had to design the look / feel of each composition, then animate all the pieces together into a cohesive sequence for final delivery.
Style frames
These are the style frames I created to drive the animation. After building the frames and getting the final approval, I build out the animation sequence in after effects.
Sizzle Reel
I made this sizzle reel to generate excitement and awareness among SVB teams about the cloud migration efforts.
Technical Process
After getting approval on the initial style frames, I created the animated sequences in After Effects by building the keyframes. Here are some clips from the video.
To achieve some of the intricate shots I envisioned, I utilized various tools such as repeaters, masks, and specific alignment techniques. This allowed the animated objects to smoothly follow defined paths throughout the scene.
